Short Answer: Argument preparation, skills training and debates.
Long Answer: The classes are structured around competition. We will teach our Next Level tiered process of Visualization, Organization and Execution. This is mostly acquired through 30 minutes of lecture. 30 minutes of debate preparation and a practice debate. Our goal is for the students to be debating in every class.
Due to the competitive nature of Next Level Debate Academy, we work to keep our class size small so that class time is effective. Our ratio is kept at 8 students to 1 instructor. If we get more students, we will hire more instructors to accommodate them.
Yes, our files will all be newly constructed as we approach each topic and will include all updated original research from students and coaches.
Short Answer: Yes, there are at least 12 online tournaments that include international participation from many nations. Click here for schedule.

Long Answer: Yes, we believe in our ability to take any student to the next level that is willing to commit to success. We pride ourselves in our ability to teach debate to new students. “Those who have never debated, need debate the most.”
We offer limited scholarships based on merit and financial need. Please contact us for more information.
NLDA Policy
Year-Round Programs: To discontinue lessons, one month’s advance notice is required. Students will be given a last class date, and any class fee after that date will be refunded.
Summer Camp and Holiday Camp: Refundable only up to one week before the first day of camp. After this period, only tuition credits are offered. Non-refundable after the first lesson day.
Tournaments: No Cancellations/Refunds.
Summer Camp and Holiday Camp: We strive to keep class sizes small and maintain an ideal teacher/student ratio. For these reasons, we are unable to offer make-up classes.
Tournaments: No Make-Ups.
Families are expected to have students to class on time. Please contact us in advance of any necessary absences or late arrivals when possible. No refunds or make-up classes will be offered for absences, late arrivals, and/or withdrawals.
